Microsoft Stops Sending Latest Update Due to Bugs

Microsoft recently just sent Windows 10 October Update after which many users have been complaining of different issues regarding files being deleted. (Find out more)
Microsoft took notice of the issues and therefore has stopped giving users the new update. Microsoft says:
We have paused the rollout of the Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809)* for all users as we investigate isolated reports of users missing some files after updating.
Microsoft advises the affected users to minimize their use and contact Microsoft support for help regarding the issue!

If you have manually downloaded the update, then don't install it as their is a risk of you losing files as well, hold on till new media is available.
Microsoft also mentioned that the versions that have been effected by this bug are:
Windows 10, version 1809
Windows Server, version 1809
Windows 10 IoT Core, version 1809
Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019
Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2019
Windows Server 2019
