While Samsung has recently been teasing about its upcoming flexible phone, an unknown Chinese company came out in the wild and released the first flexible display phone we've ever seen.

The company called Royole has released a bendable display phone by the name of Royole FlexPai! Royole unveiled the FlexPai just recently in a trade show in Beijing, China!

The device is the size of a tablet and has a screen-size of 7.8 inches, however it folds up in half to be the size of a smartphone. This makes the device usable from both sides. The FlexPai has huge bezels and a huge Chin as well which has the cameras and some other sensors.

According to the Youtube channel TechDroider the FlexPai also has an impressive battery that can charge upto 80% and also has the " latest processor."

Coming to the display, which is the main catch of the device. Looking at the demo we can clearly see that the device is really bendable, however it's not flexible. The display can only bend from the middle and not from anywhere else.

Another thing we can clearly see from a few hands-on videos is that though it has an impressive display that can bend, I don't think the software in the FlexPai is good enough to make good use of this feature. The software seems to be confused when the tablet is bent or unbent.

Overall it's pretty cool to see this new innovation showing up. If executed well this technology can be used is many productive ways, and it can bring productivity to a whole another level.
