How To Get Rid of Malware/Viruses On Your Computer?

Everyone hates to have malware or a virus on their machine! They are just really malicious and are there for harm and only harm! Sometimes these suckers are so bad that you don't even know they are there! Some of them are just so apparent !

So in this post we're going to be helping you how to get rid of these malicious programs and how to prevent from getting a virus or a malware, because prevention is better than cure!

How to get em out!

Getting malware can seem tricky and all that, but really it's not that hard.

One of the first steps for getting rid of malware is making sure that you actually do have a malware on your machine.

The signs of having a virus or a malware are, your computer slowing down, not behaving as it is supposed to, heating up unnecessarily and maybe even showing you ads about getting free RAM to speed it up!

Well if you're seeing these signs then, you're computer is effected!

Never trust a stupid website pop-up telling you your device is effected and blah blah blah!

Alright now that you know that your computer is affected, what can you do?

Well step number one is to go ahead and download an anti-virus or anti-malware (what's the difference).

If you're fine with paying then we recommend to go for Kaspersky or BitDefender, if you are not willing to spend any money then we'd recommend to go for either Avast or AVG, however do not try to install a cracked version of an anti-virus or anti-malware.

After downloading, go ahead and scan your PC for any malware. If, there is one it should be caught by the anti-virus program!

But if the program fails to detect it and you still see the signs of that virus, your option is to take your machine back in time!

Windows 10 allows you to recover your machine to an earlier date, so if you think the latest update might have caused problems or at a specific point your computer was fine then you can use this option.

Here's how!

Press the windows and the 'r' key on your keyboard, and you should see a run windows pop-up!

Then type in " Sysdm.cpl "

Once you've done that press enter, and then you should see an another Windows pop-up!

On that window navigate to "System Protection"

And then you will see this come up. After that make sure that the protection is on, then all you have to do is click the 'System Restore' button and follow the wizard! Into Windows has a much more detailed article on how to restore Windows 10 to an earlier date.

Tho these steps should remove the malware by now, but if it still remains then we recommend to factory reset windows!

And if that also doesn't work out for you then your best option is probably to go and get it checked by the manufacturer or by an expert!

Please don't bother responding random Indian people claiming to be from Microsoft and have detected a virus! Those are all scams!

Preferably seek help from a computer expert nearby who you know well !

Never ignore the security of your computer! You do a lot of stuff using your computer and all that can be logged and tracked! Due to your carelessness your important credentials can be stolen! Be careful about what you do on your computer!
